'It is important to cater to students with a spectrum of abilities as not every students thinks or learns the same way.'

Learning support equips students with the social emotional skills necessary to prepare students for classroom learning. This is crucial in ensuring that students on the Autism Spectrum have the same learning opportunities as other students. However, these skills can be difficult to teach and progress can be difficult to measure, particularly for students on the Autism Spectrum who struggle with communicating and interacting with others.

In this webinar, recorded on Wednesday 4 August 2021, CEO and Founder Nikki Bonus invites Jo-ann Osborne, Assistant Principal at Arranounbai School (NSW) and Autism Intervention Teacher Supporting ASD in the mainstream, to discuss her school's learning support practices which continue to deliver measurable improvements in student wellbeing and engagement.

In this webinar, our experts will discuss:

  • Their strategic and planned approaches to learning support for students on the Autism Spectrum
  • What data they used to inform their strategic direction and evaluate outcomes contributing to the success of their learning support practices
  • How to start measuring wellbeing effectively
  • How Life Skills GO delivers lessons catered to students on the Autism Spectrum
