Do you remember being taught the life skills to address your anxieties, social skills, mental health, managing emotions and resilience at school?
No neither do we….
Imagine what life would have looked like if we were taught these skills back then
Picture yourself waking up every single day knowing that you were addressing one of the greatest concerns for youth - their own mental health - and helping to build their self-awareness, self-regulation, positive relationships, critical thinking, creativity and self-regulation.
“Yes, but I’ve heard this all before” I hear you say, “another hopeful evangelistic Ed tech entrepreneur trying to save the world.”
Our biggest difference is that we are already in 630 schools, we have over 2500 enquires for our online platform, and have taught 500,000 children essential resilience and emotional intelligence skills. Our product is one that teachers and students love, not one they are made to use.
If you have longed to build Edu tech that really makes a difference, we have a serious goal for you:
Move our 500,000 students fully in-person program to a 30,000,000 student per year online teacher-led tech supported program. Power reliable scale to reach 10,000+ students per day.
Today our current stack is Node, Mongo, MySQL, AWS, Construct and Unity. You will help us chart out our future technology.
Are you a senior developer with some experience in the above technologies (or the ability to quickly master them)?
Can you scale a tech team and a product?
Can you be hands-on at first, but the transition to the CTO role as we grow?
If so, then you have the skills we need.
You will work in a modern office space, with equipment, team members and facilities that will make it productive and fun to come to work each day. Salary, benefits and share options are offered.
Life Skills Group embraces diversity and equal opportunity. We value a team with a variety of ideas, backgrounds, perspectives, and skills that can unite around a common goal to make a difference in the lives and future of every young person, and make EQ as valued as IQ.
